Sure! I just love the whimsy of her. Kinda got that same vibe with Leela from "Futurama" and I could actually see this being in that comic universe. I'd envision her as a kind of mimic, using her mass to say, shapeshift into classic sculpture icons like that mermaid in the Norwegian harbor.
Uhhh Selenica's character is kind of meek, subtly sassy and snarky and prone to showing it in hints. Most of her movesets would involve her pushing opponents away to hit them with the mass of her arms and such. Distance attacks I suppose?
I could see her as assuming a rather idealized if abstracted nude female form that is never complete...kind of like a statue in the rough. She would do this to basically be conventionally relatable to other humanoids. She would like use her form to slither and otherwise undulate over solid ground and perhaps assume a fish or manta ray-like form if she was in a liquid environment. She could easily assume a tentacle form or use her body in whip-like or serpentine motions (like Viper in Kung Fu Panda) to fight. She could also form club like appendages to do the same thing. I am strongly reminded of Cat, an alien from the late Roger Zelazny's novel "Eye of Cat," which deals with shape shifting alien hunter with a single eye who can polymorph much like this character and in its natural state assumes the form of a textured sky blue sphere with the single eye in the center.
Ahhah yeah I have been meaning to play around with the idea of a female mimicry of sorts. The character itself is technically genderless but I assume she could form her body to reflect any possibility of feminine structure other than the flat-chested, wide-hipped persona she usually takes on as a default. As for movement it's a bit rickety and bouncy since she's too embarrassed to move around "naturally" so to speak which would involve the slithering. Her desire is to be human, and slithering is certainly not conducive to being human!
The cartoonist Wiley Miller behind the political cartoon "Non Sequitur" has an occasional Addams Family cast of characters called the Gravesytes. The mother Miranda Graevsyte is this ghostly being who moves around on a mass of impossibly long, thick hair like Rapunzel from "Tangled" that moves in serpentine fashion hoisting her body off the ground. Thinking about it, I could picture making a flattened, multi-legged construct kinda like a pill bug that she stands or reclines on until it stop and than it becomes something else like a seat or couch. She would probably refrain from using her whole mass in a humanoid form because she would probably find that too intimidating as I could easily see her as being at least 2 meters tall if she did. When I look at it that way, she kind of reminds me of a cyclopean version of the Draags from the animated film "Fantastic Planet."
I love her!!
