Four-winged birds, or simply fourwings, are elementals that superficially resemble avians, though oddly geometric and having four wings instead of wings and claws. They are almost always flying, and rarely if ever land at all. They can fly much like hummingbirds, fast and agile as well as being able to fly upside-down or backwards.
Being elementals, all fourwings are born essentially of Air. Almost all fourwings have minor secondary elements, however. Minor elements often depend on a wide number of variables, such as time of birth, celestial alignments, location of birth, etc. It is rare to encounter a fully Air-elemented fourwin
