Technically sylphs are wind elementals but shhh it's a good alliterative with the word 'sea'.
Uhh this was a second piece with this one here: We were supposed to create two linearts but only one was mounted in the end.
I didn't know what to do for my second lineart so I defaulted and sorta made a drawing based on my Sea Queen painting here:
This piece isn't done, though. I technically didn't even really need to finish it and I got lazy on top of it all and didn't want to put in all the lines and shading in the hair I mean.
Goddamn that is a lot of hair.
No way man.
Maybe I'll come back later to work on it but for now it looks presentable enough and I like it.
Materials used were Copic Multiliner inking pens on Bristol board, dimensions are 7x7 inches.
Ten billion points if you can guess who this is for without even guessing due to obviousness.
Murrr your pen work. I must get to this level one day. It is really beautiful though, I always have loved how you make your characters lips. They are a really expressive part of your drawing structure.

All your munniez pls.
Seriously now, though, this doesn't need colour to be so vibrant... It's got so much flow to it.
Hufff thanks. I contemplated maybe coloring them digitally but ehhh.
I use SAI a lot.
