Oberon by R-WOLFE Oberon by R-WOLFE
Hey guys I've been chilling and hiding over on FA hhhhuhhah. So I got a lotta stuff to backlog upload here but I'm lazy and don't want to so instead I will post these guys instead.

I'm workin' on one of those newfangled 'species' where you sell the designs for cash money and junk and that's pretty cool, right?

I call them fourwings. Literally the most original species name I have ever conceived. Ever. Anyways, these guys are a slight deviation from my usual fare, since I'm more inclined to doing sUPER CRAZY REALISTIC SPECULATIVE BIOLOGY WITHOUT MAGIC. Fourwings are more of whimsical elemental spirits. I made these guys more as a foray into my second love, my love of design. So yeah, I sacrifice the realism, but I think it's a wonderful trade off for what I've made here.

And what I've made are colorful spirit birds with four wings instead of wings and claws. Who woulda guessed I'd go for birds.

ANYWAYS. This little guy here is the first design I made, but I accidentally got attached to him and kept him. That's the first time that's happened in awhile uhh. So I named him Oberon, and here's his little info:

Name: Oberon
Gender: Male
Species: Golden Eagle
Size type: Large
Secondary element: Fire

I have a while info sheet I've written up for the species but I must post a couple more designs first before I get to that.

Also you'll all learn to love my awful garish watermark.

More fourwings:

Fourwings are not an open species and can only be acquired by purchasing premade designs or commissioning custom designs.

Unfortunately I'm a bit too organic for Meso-American styles. I've tried for years to be able to adopt that blocky, geometric shape those art styles have, but alas my own style is too fluid and organically shaped. But it's alright though, I don't mind that I can't translate into certain styles. Don't mean I don't admire them still.

Mmm, I still feel you're able to get that across with some of the designed motifs that are used in meso-american statues/oracle stones ect despite you're work being fluid.
It's a fun little thing, i suppose. you're' own interpretation through your style I would say.

I am extremely interested.
If I do happen to have money at the moment, I will save some for these beauties.
