First attempt here:

Decided to name it Winston, yee. Also if you're just joining in, it's a Queensland lungfish/hagfish hybrid goo monster!

Okay so a lot of you said stuff about darker markings, and a few said to maybe spread the orange accents around the body and those seemed like good ideas so I went with it.

So basically the purple extends to the legs and the foot pads are orange, as well as there being an orange marking on the forehead. The forehead markings remind me of koi fish so that's an added bonus because I love koi.

Uhm, two design ideas. The purple markings are laid out the same, but I couldn't choose whether to create them with speckles or stripes so I tried both. And I really like how both the spotted and striped versions turned out so I'll probably keep both patterns as being either option when drawing it, haha.

The reason none of the markings go down to tail level in these is because the tail is presently gooey in these diagrams. When Winston liquifies, his markings disappear and he's only that light blueish color when in goo form. It's also supposed to be slightly transparent but since these drawings focus more on the color aspect I did not include transparency of the goo.

When in a completely solid state the purple markings down the back would extend all the way to the tail and I still need to play with those markings and the general tail shape whoops.

Also the jury is out on what gender/sex Winston will be. Like I have no idea whoops maybe that's important but Idek lol.
